Nutbourne Pumping Station
West Sussex

8.5kWp Peak output   |   37 module Solar PV system

Nutbourne pumping station in West Sussex was a wreck. It closed in the 1970s and it became a bunker full of rusting, redundant, heavy-duty machinery.

New owners Nick and Brigitte, had a vision to turn this concrete carcass into a beautiful family home with minimum CO2 emissions. Part of the plan was to maximize the flat roof space by installing a 37 module 8.5kWp Solar PV system. This is used to produce most of the electricity in the house.

As well as helping the environment they expect to receive a Feed-In-Tariff estimated at over £3000 in the first year!

9.87kWp Solar PV Package

Heron Farm Dorking

Like many working farms within the UK, the proposition of using a barn roof to generate free electricity and a 12% return on investment proved too appealing for developer and farm owner Mike Hawkes.

The 42 modules were fitted over an east/west split in order to collect sunlight all day. Both arrays were designed by our roofing team to maximize durability. The system was installed in July 2011 and already is powering the 8kWp grain drying unit and is estimated to produce £3200 in the first year’s Feed-In-Tariff.

3.5kWp Solar PV Package

Colchester Essex

Wayne Goodchild had decided his home would increase in value if he invested in fitting a Solar PV system as part of planned home improvements.

His system was installed in December 2010 and in April 2011 he wrote to us with some good news. His system had produced 73% more electricity then estimated in his GGG design pack. Should this trend continue, Wayne’s system would qualify for a Feed-In-Tariff of nearly £1000 more than expected in the first year!

As a MCS registered company, we are pleased to use government Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) for calculation of all Solar PV benefits, and are even more pleased when we are able to exceed our customer’s expectations.

1.8kWp Solar PV Package — Woking, Surrey

This is the second solar package fitted by Gotta Go Greena and I was again impressed at their professionalism and procedure from deposit through to commissioning. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. Many thanks again.

Solar PV Package

Using an array of 8 x 230 watt Schott modules to produce 1.8 kWp

Production

Installed in February 2010, this package has produced more than predicted at over 1564 kilowatt-hours. Francis uses a traditional standard disk meter in his house to measure the amount of electricity used. His meter reading in September this year was actually lower than the reading he had taken in April!

Matt, just a quick note to say how pleased I am with the installation of the Solar PV system your team installed for us. Start to finish it was carried out with great care and attention. I particularly appreciated your quick response to the technical questions and your help in providing a bespoke solution to achieve the best results. Thanks to all your team. Regards,
— Nick Branch

Solar PV Package

Using an array of 10 x 230 watt Schott modules to produce 2.3 kWp

Production

Installed in October 2010, this package should comfortably produce 1840 kilowatt hours in its first year. We fitted Mr. Branch’s package with a Bluetooth wireless display unit so the performance can be checked anywhere in his house.
