WHY SOLAR?

Introduction

Every year in the UK over 1000Kw of energy is received on each square metre of surface area regardless of weather conditions, in fact we actually receive at least 65% of the same solar radiation found in extremely hot countries such as Spain!

Solar Hot Water provides the means to harness free energy reducing effects on the environment and reducing our electricity bills all year round.

How It Works

A typical Solar Hot Water system is made up of solar panels or 'collectors', a twin coiled hot water storage cylinder, a pump station control unit and connecting pipe work. A transfer solution passed through the panels is heated by the sun and the captured heat is then transferred into the hot water cylinder to heat the domestic water supply.This heated water is then ready for domestic use i.e washing and bathing.

Solar Hot Water- Installation

The installation its self is less fuss than you think, lasting no more than 2 days, we will do all the internal works such as the cylinder and pipe runs on day one and the following day we will be up on the roof fitting the Solar Collectors and commissioning the system. Installing your job in this order means you wont go a night without your regular
heating and hot water services!
